First of all I would like to say thank you for stopping by and reading my blog, it really does mean a lot.
My name is Andrew Meech but I produce music under the name of Meech. The reason for this? Its pretty much what everyone bar my family calls me. They say its easier than calling me by my first name and its just stuck really.
I'm 17 and at the moment i'm on the second year of my IT course and in my 3rd year as a data inputer at the family business its not much but i still love the job and it gets me by.
But enough about my personal life, I have loved dubstep ever since one of my mates introduced me to it when I was 14 and ever since then I have had a dream that I would make electronic music and possibly make a name for myself.
Who are my musical influences? Skream and Benga, the founding fathers masters of dubstep. My influences other influences? My Grandad and Dad, they have both taught me skills about life and has made me appreciate life and do everything that I want to do before it is to late.
Its been quite a while since I first started playing around with different sounds. My debut EP will be released on 30th of November for free download on Soundcloud.
Finally, i know that my music may not be the most groundbreaking and most perfect but all big artists had to start somewhere but give me time and I can and will improve.
